Dell Crosslin
|
J. Dell Crosslin
is a shareholder and Managing Principal of Crosslin
& Associates. In this role, Dell directs all the
activities of the business management and audit
functions of the firm and has oversight of the
firm’s subsidiaries in the areas of consulting
and healthcare. With more than 30 years of
experience in accounting and consulting, Dell
has serviced clients in countless areas,
including initial public filings and other
Securities and Exchange Commission issues.
Industries he has served include healthcare,
manufacturing, government, not-for-profit,
construction, real estate, transportation, food
service, advertising and retail.
Dell served on
the Advisory Board Region IV – Small Business
Administration and on the Small Business
Committee of the Nashville Area Chamber of
Commerce. Additionally, he has served as a
resource speaker at the White House Conference
(Tennessee) and as a speaker at the
Entrepreneurship Forum.
Dell is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified
Fraud Examiner and member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and
the Tennessee Society of Certified Public
Accountants. He has served on the Advisory
Board Region IV - Small Business Administration
and the Small Business and Education committees
of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce as
well as the Government committee for the TSCPA.
He currently serves on the Audit Committee of St
Thomas Health Services.

David Hunt |
David M. Hunt
is a shareholder and Audit Principal, having been with Crosslin
& Associates since its
inception. His audit experience covers a wide variety
of industries, including distribution, publishing,
manufacturing, service, real estate, government and
hospitality.
David is a Certified
Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants and Tennessee Society of
Certified Public Accountants. He is active in community
affairs and has served as a board member and Treasurer
for the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the American
Diabetes Association. David graduated cum laude from
Trevecca College in Nashville with a dual major in
Accounting and Business Administration.

Larry Felts
|
Larry Felts
is an Audit Principal with Crosslin & Associates, joining the
firm after almost 30 years of experience with various
offices of two Big Four international firms. His
experience with both public and private company clients
extends into industries such as financial services,
retail, distribution, higher education, manufacturing,
government and technology. Larry has extensive
experience in SEC services, including initial and
secondary public offerings, periodic reporting and
client and audit committee advisory services.
Larry is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and
the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He has served on the Financial Institutions and Sports
and Entertainment Committees of the TSCPA. He is past
president of the Nashville Breakfast Exchange Club and
Junior Achievement of East Tennessee and former board
member of the United Way of Greater Knoxville and the
Center for Nonprofit Management of East Tennessee.
Larry is also an alumnus of Leadership Knoxville. He
graduated from the University of Tennessee with a
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration after
completing a tour of duty in the United States Air
Force.

John H. Crosslin |
John H. Crosslin
is a Principal in the audit and assurance
department of Crosslin &
Associates. Before joining Crosslin
& Associates, John worked with the
Nashville office of a Big Four firm.
John has directed the
audits of companies in a variety of
industries, including retail,
manufacturing, distribution,
publishing, not-for-profit,
government and business services.
In his role as director, John also
organizes and manages the Crosslin
& Associates audit schedule, which
coordinates the client schedules of
the firm’s audit team members.
John is a Certified
Public Accountant in Tennessee and a
member of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants and the
Tennessee Society of Certified
Public Accountants. He serves as a
member of the Montgomery Bell
Academy Alumni Board and the
Nashville Striders running group and
is an active volunteer for the
American Heart Association.
He received his
bachelor’s degree in business
administration with a concentration
in Accounting from the Goizueta
Business School of Emory University
in Atlanta, Georgia. He also
recently graduated from BDO
Seidman’s two-year Leadership
Institute training.

Rhonda
Sides |
Rhonda W. Sides
is the Principal of Business Valuation, Litigation
Support Services and Healthcare Services for Crosslin &
Associates and for STAT Solutions. Rhonda has years of
experience in healthcare consulting, taxation, business
valuation, litigation support services and management
consulting. She lectures nationally for various
healthcare and financial organizations regarding the
issues of combining the practicality of accounting with
the needs of healthcare
management. Rhonda has been named as one of Middle
Tennessee’s top healthcare executives three years in
Nashville Business Journal’s Healthcare 100 for 2002,
2003, and 2006 and also recognized for BizWomen profile
in 2005 and Healthcare Hero in 2007. Proficient in
healthcare management issues of many types of healthcare
entities, Rhonda specializes in physician practice
management issues, HIPAA compliance, Stark compliance
and physician compensation issues, entity contracts,
valuations, cost accounting, operational assessments,
accounts receivable, and financial feasibility issues
related to group and integrated delivery systems.
A Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Georgia
and Tennessee, Rhonda is a member of the Georgia and
Tennessee Societies of Certified Public Accountants
and the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants. Rhonda holds the valuation credentials
of Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and
Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and is a member of
the National Association of Certified Valuation
Analysts. Crosslin & Associates is a member of the
Financial Consulting Group, LLC, an association of
valuation and accounting firms across the country
that specialize in business valuation and litigation
support services. Rhonda is also a past board member
and past president of Middle Tennessee Healthcare
Executives Association, an associate of the American
Society of Appraisers, and a member of Healthcare
Financial Membership Association and was an adjunct
MBA professor for three years at The Massey School
of Belmont University of Nashville. Rhonda
graduated from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta
with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in
Accountancy.
Rhonda has
written practice management related articles
published in various sources including the
Nashville Business Journal, Healthcare Financial
Management, The Physician’s Advisory,
Nashville Medical News, and the Southern Medical
Association’s quarterly newsletter. She is also the
co-author of two books, Valuation of a Medical
Practice and Accounting Handbook for Medical
Practices, both published by John Wiley & Sons
of New Jersey.

Terry Saltsman |
Terry W. Saltsman is the Principal of Information
Technology Assurance, and Chief Information Officer
(CIO), at Crosslin & Associates. Dr. Saltsman is a
specialist in information system assurance and digital
security. He has written and presented numerous whites
papers on computer crime and security issues at
organizations such as Argonne National Laboratory,
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and The Pentagon.
Dr. Saltsman has also lectured recently on information
assurance before organizations such as the Information
Systems Audit and Control Association, the Association
of Information Technology Professionals and the
Association of State Chief Information Officers. He
specializes in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, HIPAA
compliance, multilevel security systems planning, and
digital forensic investigations.
Before
coming to Crosslin & Associates Dr. Saltsman served as
the CIO for the Joint Force Headquarters of the
Tennessee National Guard and as the acting CIO for The
National Guard Bureau in Washington, DC. He has been an
advisor to political campaigns, elements of the
intelligence community, served on information systems
disaster and security task forces, and testified before
both the United States House of Representatives and the
United States Senate.
A Professional Engineer, Dr. Saltsman is a member of the
Information Systems Audit and Control Association, the
Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the
Information Systems Security Association, the
Association of Information Technology Professionals, and
the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a
member of the CIO Forum, a national discussion group on
information system issues, and periodically serves as an
adjunct professor at Tennessee State University. Dr.
Saltsman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from
Vanderbilt University, a Master's of Engineering from
the University of Tennessee, and a Ph.D. in
Environmental Policy from The Union Institute, where he
studied Management of Technology in Environmental
Systems.
Dr. Saltsman has written compliance and security
articles in a number of sources including the Federal
Government Security Weekly, Defense News, Nashville
Medical News, and the Nashville Business Journal.
Currently he is authoring the chapter “The PLA is at
Your Digital Gate,” to be published in China’s
Asymmetrical Warfare Planning for the 21st Century
(2008).

Justin D. Crosslin |
Justin D. Crosslin, Jr.
is the Chief Operating Officer for Crosslin &
Associates, P.C. His responsibilities
include management of company operations, finances,
accounting, and human resources as well as oversight
of all administrative staff. He also is responsible
for the firm’s strategic plan and maintenance as
well as operational oversight of the company’s
medical billing company, STAT Solutions, LLC.
Justin previously served as director of
operations for Big Time Toys, LLC. Additional roles
include the financial operations analyst for
Outpatient Imaging Affiliates where he conducted
feasibility analysis for new services and worked to
streamline billing, budgeting, and financial
projection systems; a consultant for HCA
Corporation; and director of financial
operations for American Retirement Corporation.
While with Hospital Corporation of America Justin
received the HCA Star Award for his outstanding work
with the Governmental Operations Department.
Justin
is a Certified Public Accountant in Tennessee. He
received his bachelor’s degree from the Goizueta
Business School at Emory University and
his executive
master’s degree in business administration from the
Owen School of Vanderbilt University. He has served
on the board of directors and remains a current
member of Leadership Healthcare
and serves on Montgomery Bell Academy’s Young Alumni
Board. He also is a member of the American
Institute and Tennessee Society of Certified Public
Accountants.

Rodney Brower
|
Rodney
Brower
serves as
Principal in Charge of the Crosslin & Associates tax
department. With more than 35 years of experience, he has
significant expertise in providing tax compliance and
consulting services to individual and business clients in a
variety of industries, as well as extensive knowledge of
investment and asset management development. Throughout his
career, he has represented large financial and banking
institutions, real estate investors, charitable foundations,
employee benefit plans and a variety of other organizations.
Rodney
most recently served as managing partner for B&B
Investment Properties of Brentwood, an investment
company specializing in real estate, and worked as tax
director and partner in charge of taxes for J.C.
Bradford & Co. He also served as tax partner for the
Nashville office of Deloitte & Touche and a tax
supervisor for Ernst & Young.
Brower
received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from
Mississippi State University.

Richard Winstead
|
Richard M. Winstead serves as Tax Principal for Crosslin &
Associates. Richard
has a wide range of experience in financial analysis and
budgeting as well as corporate reorganizations and
acquisitions. With his extensive experience in federal
and state tax planning, Richard is considered an expert
in Tennessee taxation and provides expert witness
testimony in court. Prior to joining Crosslin
& Associates,
Richard was a partner in the Nashville office of a Big
Five firm. Additionally, Richard has been involved in
many aspects of the healthcare industry during his
career. He has been advisor to several start-up
ventures and continued with them through the public
stock issuance phase. He has also worked with physician
groups and joint ventures with both proprietary and
not-for-profit hospitals.
Richard is actively involved in the civic community with
an emphasis on quality education for Nashville's youth.
He is on the board and has served as Chairman for the
Regional Board of STARS (Students Taking a Right Stand),
which promotes drug and alcohol education in our school
systems. He has served as an ambassador for the
Tennessee Foundation for Independent Colleges and is
Chairman of the Tennessee Associates Board of Georgetown
College. Richard is also active in the United Way of
Middle Tennessee and the Cumberland Valley Girl Scouts
Council. Richard is a member of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society
of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of
Management Accountants, and the Estate Planning Council
of Nashville. An army veteran, Richard graduated magna
cum laude from Georgetown College and received an MBA from Indiana
University.
