Crosslin & Associates Names New Principal

The Principals at Crosslin & Associates are pleased to announce that Mike McKeown has joined the firm as audit principal.

With more than 16 years of experience in public accounting, Mike most recently served as the lead audit partner in the Nashville office of Horne LLP.  His public accounting experience also includes serving as an audit director for BDO Seidman’s Memphis and Nashville offices.  Mike has directed the external audit engagements for several publicly traded companies in the Nashville area.  Before joining the public accounting industry, he served as a First Lieutenant in the Army National Guard.

Mike received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Mississippi.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a past president and board member of the Memphis chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.  He completed a 2009 leadership mission with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and has participated in Vanderbilt University’s Youth About Business program.
